The introduction to Japanese history podcast series is finally DONE. In all, we have 15 episodes, and is required listening for anyone aside from Tornadoes who is interested in Japanese history. All of the episodes with descriptions have been collected on the blog:

Like the blog post says, feel free to pick and choose, although for a more or less comprehensive history, I'd say just go ahead and get 'em all. The blog post also includes an extensive bibliography and recommended reading list. _________________ Shop Amazon.com, support the Samurai Archives: http://amzn.to/wnDX2j

Excellent, I'll definitely be looking into these. I was listening to the prehistoric Japan one a few days ago and it was well done. |

Gotcha! |
I was already planning on listening to them before you goaded me.
I have a crappy Blackberry which is not capable of podcast listening. I will try and find time at home. Plus I plan to get a new Android phone soon so I can listen on the bus and elsewhere. _________________ http://toshogu.blogspot.com

| A big thank you for doing this series. For someone like me who is still a relative newbie to the study of samurai history, this is a gold mine. I certainly plan on listening in its entirety. |

thanks again out to SA team for adding more content to site.. with recent podcast of Nagashino
as I have posted more than a few times, as newbie/novice in Samurai history, the resources here help me get better perspective of various Samurai historical events/figures.. specifically ones that I have interest in. |
