Yes, that's origane, not origami.
For all who are interested in that kind of thing, I have put up a couple of blog posts about Miyamoto Musashi's origane (part of the koshirae or sword furniture) on the theme of enkou sokugetsu - monkey reaching for the moon.
Anyone who has read Victor Harris's translation of Gorin no Sho may have noticed the rather ambiguous photographs he included of this item. I have been looking for some clarification for some time, and finally found a side view photo, which gives a much better idea of what it looks like. And there are some nice pictures of monkeys (actually gibbons mostly) as well.
