*Moderator's note - this post was accidentally stuck in the approval queue. Hello I would like to have some help with a story that I can’t remember entirely. There was a story about two samurai who were famous rivals for many years. When one of them died, the other one felt an enormous pain because the one who inspired him to become better was dead. Do you remember this story and the names of those samurais? I want to include that story in a speech I’ll give next week about samurai. Also, if there is a story similar to this one, please share. Thank you. |

Since no one has commented, I'm making the assumption that it's Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin. |

My thought as well, it seems (given that we were not there to actually know) that they had a mutual admiration bordering on love/hate . |
