I was reminded that this section of the site exists recently, so I figured I'd put up our channel on samurai history and culture: Samurai Gaiden.

We are in the process of moving to our own channel location, rather than remaining at DickJutsu.com. But our latest video is continuing with the theme we vaguely started last year (our first December) with a Christian-themed event: The San Felipe Incident and the subsequent event of the 26 Martyrs. It's one of our shorter videos, since we've been doing a bunch of long ones lately.

Enjoy!

We've recently branched out with our own Youtube channel, rather than using my old Dickjutsu account. We celebrated by briefly touching on Hino Tomiko and how she, arguably, started the Onin War.

D'aww, geez...I'm terrible at remembering to put up these notices. *_*

In February we did Valentine's Day in Japan and the Story of Tanabata. I will actually be doing a performance of the story of Tanabata (in my best attempt at Rakugo form) at Pittsburgh's Tekko convention tomorrow. That was also the first video we did with the new movie maker program, so the production quality has increased greatly (thank goodness).
March was the story of Asano Nagaakira.

We also re-filmed and uploaded our video on Minamoto no Yoshitomo since the old one got corrupted somewhere in the upload process.

And tomorrow morning (at 0730) we will release April's video on the very basics of making Katana.

Also if anyone is interested in watching the Valentine's video...you might as well follow this link and be entered into a chance to win my 2015 novel Escort.

And with us back from Otakon we decided to make a video in reference of Extra Credits' video on Saragarhi by talking about Torii Mototada and his last stand at Fushimi-Momoyama.
